CAM-2  Radioactive Aerosol Continuous Monitor

The device is applicable to continuous monitoring of radioactive aerosols formed by various long-lived nuclides in the air, able to simultaneously provide the activity concentration of aand β radioactive aerosols. It can effectively eliminate the interference of radon and Th daughter remaining in the sample and has high monitoring sensitivity. The device is designed to be portable, making it easy to move to different locations. It can also be vehicle-mounted, ship-mounted, and aircraft-mounted.

  • Able to identify nuclides 235U, 238U, 239Pu, and 241Am, can provide both the total activity and activity concentration values for different nuclides simultaneously.
  • Internationally advanced Accumulation By Continuous Counting-Moving Filter (ACC-MF) adopted
  • Continuous vacuum measurement mode and high-resolution energy spectrum technology adopted, which can eliminate the influence of radon and thorium daughter by more than 98% to 99%.

  • In long-term measurements or high-contamination situations, it effectively prevents the core detection unit from being contaminated.
  • It is particularly suitable for places where heavy contamination may occur, but it can also be used in regular environments
