- Sound and alarm: Each sound indicates dose of about 3.2 μR. The corresponding dose rate to the sound emitted once per second is about 10 mR/h. When the dose rate of the radiation field exceeds 1,000 mR/h, the instrument makes continuous audible and visual alarms, and the alarm sounds continue after the counter tube is blocked
