Nuclear-Grade Impregnated Activated Carbon

Nuclear-Grade Impregnated Activated Carbon

Nuclear-grade impregnated activated carbon is mainly used for the adsorption and fixation of radioactive gaseous iodine generated from nuclear facilities and isotope production. The product is processed from high-quality coconut shell activated carbon treated with chemical impregnants. It has a high adsorption efficiency for gaseous radioactive iodine, especially for organic iodine, which is difficult to adsorb by ordinary adsorbents. It can adapt to special operating conditions of nuclear facilities, and its physical properties and iodine removal performance meet the requirements of ASTM D4069.

Product Categories

  • Specially formulated impregnated activated carbon adsorbent, which can efficiently adsorb organic iodine that is difficult to capture.
  • Well-developed pore structure, large specific surface area, high adsorption capacity, and high adsorption efficiency.
