STM-GR1 Portable γ Source Term Monitor

STM-GR1 Portable γ Source Term Monitor

STM-GR1 Portable γ Source Term Monitor is a quantitative measurement device for activity of γ radiation source terms in nuclear power plants developed by CIRP based on its unique measurement technology for deposited source terms in pipelines and experience obtained from over 70 on-site source term investigation projects. This device is mainly used for quantitative measurement of the activity of deposited γ source term on the inner wall of pipelines during the overhaul of nuclear power plants. It can also be used for continuous online monitoring of coolant source terms during oxidation operation, as well as quantitative measurement and analysis of temporary γ hot spots.

Product Categories

  • Automatic γ spectrum analysis, without parameters setting required. This device is optimized and built in with γ spectrum analysis parameters based on the characteristics of γ source terms in the nuclear power plants. Only basic operations need to be carried out by radiation protection personnel according to software prompts to achieve accurate measurement and automatic γ spectrum analysis.
  • Built-in efficiency database, without modeling required. This device is provided with common pipeline parameters in nuclear power plant systems and a detection efficiency database at different measurement distances. Without additional modeling, the contribution ratio of nuclide activity and dose rate can be directly obtained at the site after the measurement is completed.
  • Built-in 5G, enabling remote operation. Wireless communication such as WiFi, Bluetooth and 5G is integrated in this device. After the device is set up on site, the personnel can remotely observe the real-time measurement results in the background and associate them with source term management system.
