ZXF-1 Mobile Foam Decontamination Device

Foam decontamination is an effective method for decontaminating equipment, vehicles, and large tanks. The foam generation device is used to apply the foam-carried decontamination agent onto the surface to be cleaned. After allowing sufficient time for the decontamination agent to react with the contaminants, the surface is rinsed to remove the contamination.

By using foam decontamination as a preliminary treatment, more radioactive substances are effectively removed. The average external dose rate of the generated secondary waste is significantly lower when using foam decontamination technology compared to traditional technology of high-pressure water jet.
