01 Design, simulation analysis, experimental verification and safety assessment of radioactive material transport container
CIRPTC is outfitted with 130-ton level radioactive material transport container test facilities, can undertake the tasks of radioactive material transport container design, simulation analysis, experimental verification and safety assessment. At present, CIRPTC has conducted the design, simulation analysis, experimental verification and safety assessment of 47 types of radioactive material transport container, involving the contents UF6, UF4, fuel pellets, components, radioactive waste, radioactive sources and spent fuels, among others.
02 Radioactive Material Transport Safety Assessment Service
CIRPTC is able to conduct transport safety assessment, preparation and evidence collection of nuclear and radioactive material transport safety assessment reports, and construction of radioactive material transport safety system. CIRPTC is the first in China to carry out safety analysis and assessment of radioactive material transportation with assessment subjects covering highway, railway and sea transportation domestically and internationally, involving the content types of UF6, pellets, new fuel assemblies, spent fuel assemblies, alpha wastes and decommissioned radioactive sources.
